Is 516Labs an analytical laboratory?
516Labs manages the testing program and commercial workflow. Laboratory analysis and other regulated services are performed by appropriately qualified providers for the applicable scope and jurisdiction.
What can I send to start a request?
Send an RFP, permit, sampling plan, specification, testing table, recurring schedule or plain-language description. Include the project or sample location, matrix, methods or analytes if known, approximate sample count and required date.
Can 516Labs support recurring testing?
Yes. Recurring programs can include standing schedules, laboratory pricing, field coverage, pickup, kits or bottles, receiving cutoffs, standard and rush turnaround, chain of custody, reporting and exception follow-up.
Can 516Labs arrange sampling?
Where field work is required, 516Labs can source appropriate field coverage. Sampling or inspection requiring specific credentials remains with the appropriately qualified provider.
Does 516Labs support rush work?
Yes, subject to laboratory capacity, method requirements, sample condition, receiving windows and logistics. Rush availability is confirmed for the actual requirement.
How are providers qualified?
Qualification is based on the actual requirement and can include method, matrix, jurisdiction, accreditation or certification scope, receiving requirements, capacity, turnaround, logistics, pricing and commercial readiness.
Can providers submit capabilities?
Yes. Laboratories, field-sampling firms, couriers and specialty service providers can submit capabilities for current and future programs.
Who issues the laboratory report?
The performing laboratory issues its analytical report. 516Labs manages the surrounding program, status and commercial workflow.
